Het Rozbrat Collectief is in 1994 begonnen als een gewoon kraakpand in de Poolse stad Poznan. Het is begonnen als een pand om in te wonen en punkconcerten te organiseren, maar is ondertussen uitgegroeid tot een zeer actief politiek- en sociaalcentrum. Het Rozbrat Collectief organiseert tal van activiteiten en is een van de belangrijkste anarchistische vrijplaatsen in Polen. Sinds begin 2009 wordt het pand continu met ontruiming bedreigd, maar inmiddels heeft het Rozbrat Collectief al twee gevechten gewonnen om het pand te behouden. Tot op heden zijn potentiële kopers te bang om de grond waarop het pand staat te kopen.
Op 17 oktober komen mensen van het Rozbrat collectief naar Amsterdam om te vertellen over hun lange-termijn strategieën m.b.t. hun collectief, hun initiatieven, acties, protesten, etc. Natuurlijk zal er ook gesproken worden over de strijd voor het behoud van het Rozbrat pand.

Info Night: Rozbrat Squat stays!The Rozbrat Collective started as a regular squat, which has been in existence since 1994 in the town of Poznan (Poland). It started as a squat where people could live and organize punk shows, but has grown to be a very active and political social center. It is one of the most important anarchist spaces in Poland and the Rozbrat Collective initiated a lot of activities. Since the beginning of 2009 the squat is constantly threatened with eviction. In the meantime the Rozbrat Collective has won two battles to save the squat. Until now potential buyers are too afraid to buy the property where the Rozbrat squat is situated.
On October 17 the people from the Rozbrat Collective are coming to Amsterdam to talk about their long-term strategy concerning their collective, their initiatives, actions, protests, etc. and of course they will explain everything about their struggle to keep the Rozbrat squat!
