Mark Bray is a historian and an active member of the American anarcho-syndicalist union the IWW. He was involved with the Washington Occupy Wall Street (OWS) chapter. In his book ‘Translating Anarchy’, a bundling of 200 interviews with OWS activists, he shows how a relatively small number of Occupy activists in Washington could turn the Occupy-movement there in a more radical and anti-capitalist direction without loosing support from fellow participants.

Mark Bray was een Occupy Wall street (OWS) activist en is actief lid van de Amerikaanse anarcho-syndicalistische vakbond IWW en historicus. In zijn boek vertelt hij aan de hand van interviews met 200 OWS-activisten hoe een beperkte groep de Occupy-protesten in Washington een radicale draai kon geven richting een antikapitalistische beweging en veel mensen met zich meekreeg.
