The letters will be sent to Ukrainian prisoners-of-war Denys Matsola and Vladyslav Zhuravlev, who have been held in Russian prison for three years in inhumane conditions.
As people against the Russian invasion on Ukraine, it is important to keep anti-authoritarian fighters in our minds. Writing letters to soldiers is a simple way to show that we are thinking of them, and improves their morale. The letters have strict requirements—they must be in Russian, politically neutral—but we will go over this during the session. If you do not speak or write in Russian, don’t worry, we can translate the letters after they are written.
