‘I Mix What I Like!’ (AK Press) is het eerste boek van Jared A. Ball (professor in communicatie studies aan de Morgan State University en host bij FreeMix Radio) Hij combineert in zijn werk de theorieën over modern kolonialisme en Afro-Amerikaanse studies en legt de link met moderne (sub)culturen als Hiphop. Hij zal vertellen over de relatie tussen hiphop en politieke actie en de rol die hij hierbij ziet voor de ‘mixtape’ en vrije radio.
